Version 0.3.2 - Endless Mode


The latest update includes Endless mode, as well as a Journal, which allows you to play the days that Faith lives through in Hell. The journal is  meant to provide a structure for people who don't want to set up their own custom runs.

  • Added lacrima usage statistics to "Collection" > "Lacrima"
  • Added a Restart button to end game popup
  • Added lacrima type description to lacrima rewards screen
  • Added new tip that explains the types of lacrima
  • Added info in options that music is safe for streams and videos
  • Added arrow to inventory when you get a lacrima the first time and have never inspected them

  • Added "skull" indicator for remaining enemies on a lane (thanks Khimitsu)
  • Added simple phases at the top of the fight screen (Faith Phase, Enemy Phase, Status Effect Phase)

Gameplay Adjustments

  • Procedurally generated enemies no longer have duplicate lacrima
  • Procedurally generated enemies no longer have more than 4 lacrima
  • Procedurally generated enemies no longer have certain unfair or unwinnable constellations
  • Reworked Shield: Reduces incoming damage by 50%. Stack halves when hit.
  • Reworked Weak: Reduces ATK by 30%. Stack halves when hit.
  • Reworked Regeneration: Heals for 30% of max. HP.  Stack halves when hit.
  • Reworked Vulnerable: Increases incoming damage by 50%. Stack halves when hit.
  • Nerfed Healingbound: Increases lacrima values by total times any creature was healed this fight
  • Charm now lasts a total of 3 turns, no matter if it is re-added while being charmed (just like Doom)
  • Some lacrima now don't appear in the first run of the game
  • Bosses now can also be mastered if killed 5 times
  • Switched atonements: A3 (Shop offers 4 cards) is now A1 (start with a curse)

UI/UX Adjustments

  • Order of card descriptions is now the same order as cards on text, i.e. modifiers -> triggers -> actions -> target modifiers
  • Changed colors on keywords for card descriptions
  • When selecting lacrima rewards, the confirm button is now above lacrima
  • Options such as resolution settings will not get synced in Steam Cloud anymore between devices (these are usually unique to each device)
  • Gamespeed is now 50% by default
  • First run is now more handcrafted to improve onboarding
  • Changed tip about "damage to Faith"
  • Graveyard icons are now always shown, even outside of battles
  • Renamed Showdown to Reanimated and changed description
  • Split up run history into individual files, instead of saving it in one big file. This will prevent file corruption and makes sure statistics are saved correctly. Existing run history is not compatible with the new system (sorry!), but run history is no longer limited to 20 runs.
  • Put "Profile" button outside of "Collection"
  • Overhauled "Collection" UI
  • Changed chapter display in the upper left corner
  • Lacrima previews and lacrima targetting previews now move in an arch
  • Lacrima value is now shown for triggers on hover in quickselect menu and on hover in stachel
  • You can now inspect the draw pile during fights
  • Changed upgrade limit message to "Requires chapter" (thanks Jarvis)
  • Changed cooldown description: This card needs to cooldown for X rounds after getting triggered.

Fixes

  • Fixed last card in hand sometimes being misaligned
  • Fixed issues where a card could still go through their actions after dying
  • Fixed being able to click buttons in the background on splashscreen when in pause/options menu
  • Fixed being able to move creature back to lane the instant it was exiled
  • Fixed "Do you really want to quit" popup getting closer and closer to camera... xD
  • Fixed bug where opening/closing inventory would sometimes open fight rewards
